So the other day Nathan was really interested in what we were cooking and wanted to help me with it. I think part of his excitement stemmed from the anticipation of having rice for dinner, which he totally loves (rice with a decent amount of butter and salt... a boy after my brother Jordan's middle and high school days heart). Anyway, he ran and got a stool and set it right next to the stove. He enjoyed stirring the veggies around, even though he was saying "hot" the whole time. Pretty cute kid, hopefully we can continue to cultivate this. The meal, BTW, was delicious. I absolutely love Peanut Sauce and this was just veggies (squash, zuch, green pepper, onion, carrot, and broccoli) with peanut sauce on top of rice, what could be better?!
