Anyway, so the other night, it was about 11 and I was finishing up brushing my teeth and I heard Sarah come out of her room and new she would need to use the restroom. She came in (yes, we only have one bathroom!) and said, very lucidly, that she needed to go "potty". So I told her I would give her some privacy and exited the bathroom, while leaving it a smidgeon cracked so that I could make sure she didn't need any help. I watched her curiously as she pulled the stool (a similar one is pictured below) out and put it right below the sink, pulled down her panties, sat down on the stool and proceeded to go "potty"... right on the stool. I opened the door and said "Sarah, what are you doing, that is the stool!" I totally startled her and likely fully woke her from her daze.

I told her to go on the toilet and then I started laughing and went in to our room telling Mary what had just happened. Mary asked if she had finished going to the bathroom and I realized that she probably hadn't and so we assisted her onto the toilet and then cleaned up the mess that she had made of the stool and the floor. And, conveniently, in the morning, she didn't remember a thing! At least there are blogs to make experiences like this timeless!

That's crazy. I thought she was going to hoist herself up to the sink and pee there...cute story.
That is funny! My girls do the same thing when they wake up to go - Ella will just cry in her door way till I go sit her on the potty. Not as funny - I did the exact same stool thing when I was a kid - sadly I had my sisters to make sure I woke up enough to know exactly what I had just done.
That is hilarious, thanks for sharing!
