Blogging for One Year

Today marks the one year anniversary of me blogging.... which is something that I like WAY more then I would ever have imagined and more than most people know. I would love to be a professional blogger... it would be really cool, but the things I'm interested in blogging about would not interest the general public (except sports). Anyway, I've done well over 150 posts in that one year, which means I post, on average, about once every 2.25 days or so. I would like to do it more, but I don't have time to post about a lot of the quirky things that I learn about or read about... maybe in the future. For now, I'm content with my status as a "family" blogger and I love how it connects me to other people. I'm very grateful for my sister encouraging me to start a blog and being such a faithful supporter (read: commenter). A long time ago she commented that she loves blogs because she gets to know me in a way that she may not get to know me otherwise, and I totally agree. So here's to ONE YEAR of BLOGGING! Hooray... many more to come!

I just had my one year on Sept. 26th and forgot to blog about it! Congrats on 1 year. I too love that it is a way that I can feel like I am "in the know" with my friends and family which I would not be at all if it wasn't for blogging!

I have to agree - our family started blogging over a year ago and it has been a nice way to hear about each other's lives in ways we wouldn't have otherwise.

Guy blogs are certainly in the minority, though. Is blogging like scrapbooking? :)

Congratulations! I'm not sure how long I've been blogging? I'll have to figure that out cause now you have me curious! All I know is that the Comcast guy JUST left and now I have internet and YOURS is the first blog I went to. Hope you feel special!!! :)

blogging is seriously kind of addicting isn't it? And it IS a great way to keep in contact with everyone. I'm sure I'll keep blogging for a long time to come. Now I just need to get more of Scott's and my immediate family to do it too.
